Governor Brian Sandoval today issued the following statement on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy:

“President Kennedy once said, ‘As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.’ Despite his short tenure as President, John Kennedy asked the nation to look within itself to find new and different ways to accomplish the great tasks which lay in front of America. As we remember his life and his legacy today, may Nevadans and all Americans continue to look within themselves to honor Kennedy’s legacy, live by his words and better our communities.”
